I was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and still have 'a wee bit of an accent' even though I've been living and teaching in Turlock for over 25 years. I enjoy photography and video, and I love editing. I've used just about every program there is for photo and video but my favorites are Pixelmator and Final Cut. I'm an Apple fan and have worn out several Macbook Pros. Every year my husband helps me make a fun end-of-the-year-movie for Walnut. It's filled with clips from the year, special effects and teacher dances. As a teacher I try to bring technology to my classroom to help my students prepare for their future and explore their own creativity . I introduced coding and Google Docs to my students because I know they will need it. I am really excited to share some of the things I've found that get students so excited about school that they keep on working when they get home.
