“Digital Content Area Storytelling Using the iPad”- BYOD

Explore the pedagogy, techniques, and application to content using student-generated digital stories created on the iPad using iMovie and YouTube upload. Authentic research, writing, and speaking become transferable 21st century skills. A brief, live (follow-along) demonstration using iMovie to make a prototype classroom digital story as well as comparison to Avid Studio, Pinnacle Studio and Android Tablet apps etc. will be explored. Resources, student examples, and writing prompts provided!

Through the creation and presentation of student-generated digital content, students can showcase and guide their own discovery, as well as hone useful 21st century skills. I love the interplay between the arts and core curricular content.
