In this idea packed session, I will share my journey implementing an Engineering and Design unit for the Next Generation Science Standards, in my first grade classroom. Through the use of robotics, Legos, computer science programs and iPad apps, Minecraft EDU and integrating technology across the curriculum, I am striving to inspire the next generation of explorers in a student centered environment that is engaging and fun.
